The counselors work full-time with students, parents and teachers. They provide assistance to students both individually and in groups. They are also responsible for classroom guidance sessions that focus on topics such as drug, alcohol and tobacco prevention, sexuality, peer pressure, and conflict solving. In high school, the vocational and professional orientation programs provides career training and information to guide the students with their proposed university studies. To complement the entire educational process, the counselors also manage many social service programs such as “Padrinos Panamericanos” where high school students volunteer their time assisting students from outside our institution.
